EMERGING AUSTRALIAN COMPOSER BASED IN THE NETHERLANDS

Archie Tulk (b. 2003) is an emerging Australian composer and creative artist, currently in his final year of Bachelor of Music Composition at Royal Conservatoire The Hague in the Netherlands, made possible through a music scholarship granted by The Australian Elizabethan Theatre Trust. Archie’s ever-expanding creative vision sees his work fluidly move between artistic disciplines, composing contemporary art music, alternative popular music and scoring for multimedia projects. Over the past few years, Archie has had works commissioned and performed by Dutch National Opera & Ballet, Residentie Orkest, Luminescence Chamber Singers, Roctet, Sydney Children's Choir, Quatuor Bozzini, Muze van Zuid Festival, The Polish Children’s Fund, The Choir of St Pauls, Phillips Academy Massachusetts String Orchestra, and Sydney Conservatorium Chamber Choir. At the Royal Conservatoire, he is studying under the tutelage of prolific Dutch composers Martijn Padding and Peter Adriaansz.
